INSPIRATION and CREATION was a very special exhibition of work by pupils at Castle School sponsored by Enoch Evans. The pupils, aged 4-19 years old, produced artwork in a range of techniques in response to the work they studied during visits to the Garman Ryan Collection. This book offers teachers of Key Stage 1, 2, and 3, schemes of work based on the Garman Ryan Collection at The New Art Gallery Walsall and has also been sponsored by Enoch Evans.

ENOCH EVANS

Enoch Evans qualified as a Solicitor in 1884 and the Firm which still bears his name has been at the centre of Walsall legal life since that year.

On 1st May 2000 Enoch Evans merged with Kenneth Cooke & Co, another firm with an unbroken history in Walsall – founded in 1947. The merged Firm is committed to the provision of high quality legal services in Walsall and aims to be a continuing contributor to the health of the local economy. We already employ over 70 staff.

We have also been an active supporter of the regeneration of the Town – a regeneration best symbolised by the building of the Art Gallery. We at Enoch Evans are therefore delighted to be able to support "Inspiration and Creation", an exhibition which proves just how well the Gallery can serve its community. The exhibits inspired by the Garman Ryan Collection are stunning and will hopefully stimulate other schools to embark upon similar projects.
